CHARLOTTE, N.C. — May 9, 2024 — Brightspeed, the nation’s fourth largest fiber broadband builder focused on empowering more homes with ultrafast, reliable internet, announces construction of its Brightspeed Fiber Internet network in northern Wisconsin. The company is currently working to connect almost 20,000 addresses in the Superior and Ashland areas of Wisconsin’s Lake Superior Lowland.
Brightspeed Fiber Internet will give families and small business owners in these communities super-fast connectivity with none of the hassles. Once connected, customers can expect straightforward bills, easy-to-understand plans and internet connections that just work.
Brightspeed has 15,545 locations planned in Superior and of those 13,357 are currently under construction. In Ashland, Brightspeed has 3,874 locations planned and all are currently under construction. All these locations will soon be enabled with Brightspeed Fiber Internet giving residents access to the state-of-the-art network.
