CHARLOTTE, N.C. — October 2, 2024 — Brightspeed, a leading phone and internet service provider, announces that it has opened a free charging and phone station in Damascus, Virginia to help residents in the area who are still without power as a result of Hurricane Helene. Brightspeed crews have been working around the clock to repair the damage to the company’s network that has resulted in service interruptions for its customers. In the meantime, the company has power and phone service available for Taylors Valley residents to make those important connections with family and friends who have been unable to check on residents’ wellbeing.

 

The Brightspeed charging and phone station will be free and open to the public starting Wednesday, October 2 at the following location:
