Wholesale:
Systems Transformation
Following the close of our transaction in October 2022, Brightspeed communicated that we would operate on a replicated version of Lumen’s existing system under a Transitional Services Agreement (TSA) for a period not to exceed 24 months. This wholesale transformation will migrate from replicated systems to new, purpose-built systems for Brightspeed and our customers.
Over the coming weeks, we will continue to update you throughout this system transition to ensure you remained informed of our plans.
Your transformation questions, answered.
What is
changing?
It has always been a part of our transformation plan to migrate to systems that are purpose-built for Brightspeed to simplify our customer experience, optimize our solution support and modernize our approach to technology.
The TSA period with Lumen will be ending and Brightspeed will be moving to new platforms that deliver more features and better performance. Ordering, provisioning and billing will all receive process enhancements.
This will be a phased migration to the Brightspeed system stack. This system transition will begin in Q1 of 2024 and should be completed by the end of the year. Through continued communications we will partner on these updates and implement a plan that leads to a seamless transition.

Customers Submitting ASRs and/or LSRs for non-converted states continue to use EASE for your orders.
For LSRs in Georgia and Michigan orders will be submitted through the new UOC platform beginning in the second half of 2024.
For LNPs in Georgia and Michigan orders will be submitted through the new Port Out Automation platform beginning in the second half of 2024.
